The Portcullis May sale attracted a large varied entry yet again.
The usual large crowd in attendance plus yet again increased interest on the internet bidding resulted in many lots selling well above their expected prices.

Over 500 lots forward for the early summer evening sale.  With over 130 people in the room plus huge internet interest with many lots being purchased on-line.

McCartney’s first evening sale of Fine Art & General Effects recently held attracted a large crowd and an increased amount of buyers on the internet for their monthly sale. There was a real ‘buzz’ in the saleroom as it all got underway.

A super winter entry of 550 lots were forward attracting a large crowd at the Portcullis Saleroom.

The Portcullis saleroom had a very good attendance of buyers at the sale of antiques on 25th January despite the fact that it was postponed for a week following a night of heavy snow on the 18th.

Sale Prices Ride High On Internet Wave

The Portcullis Saleroom reports a buoyant August sale of some 500 lots and their second event harnessing the power of internet bidding. Successful internet bids made up 15% of the sale by lot and a remarkable 22%of the sale by value. This was a considerable increase on July's figures and we are confident that interest will continue to grow in this exciting new venture for the saleroom.
