  • Knighton Rural Office - "In 2016 we were approached by Fisher German who are the agents for The Seven Trent Water Authority. The scheme was the Elan Valley Aqueduct Project and it involved them requiring a number of acres off our farm for a period of at least three years

    We were well aware that we would have a considerable battle on our hands. After speaking to a number of local agents and enquiring how they would represent us, Mrs Jenny Layton-Mills from McCartneys was by far our best candidate we admired her enthusiasm and ideas on how we/she would approach our claim.

    We are still currently in negotiations and have found Mrs Layton-Mills to be very professional in her work, willing to explore every avenue and not afraid to stand up to a big co-operation.

    Her calmness and detailed approach in all our meetings with Seven Trent have been a great support to us in what has been very stressful negotiations.
