Single Payment Scheme

The single payment scheme, introduced by EC Council Regulation 1782/2003, replaced most existing crop and livestock payment schemes from 1 January 2005. In 2006 McCartneys completed over 650 English and Welsh application froms, which included many cross-border holdings.

McCartneys Single Payment Team offers the following services in connection with the Single Payment Scheme:

  • Checking the SPS Entitlement Statement including cross border statements
  • Completion of Single Payment Scheme Application form including checking field numbers and areas set aside obligations, 10 month obligation and the correct cropping codes. Checking this against the Entitlement Statement and submitting to RPA / NAW
  • Completion of Hill Farm Allowance Application forms or Tir Mynydd Application Forms for land with Less Favoured Area.
  • Completion or Entry Level and Higher Level Stewardships Applications and Tir Cynnal and Tir Gofal Applications.
  • Helping with cross compliance issues.
  • Advice on the Registration of Agricultural Waste exemptions.
  • Technical support through Mark Fish in connection with BCMS and other electronic paperwork.
  • Trading of SPS entitlements and authorisations.
  • Appeals for loss of payment.
