    McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained full planning approval and listed buildings consent for the erection of a two storey extension to a rural cottage. The extension provides a utility and shower room on the ground floor and a double bedroom on the first floor.  This extension provides the cottage with 2 bedrooms in total allowing a family to live in the dwelling.

    With crops ripening rapidly due to the hot sunny summer and with standing straw prices at record highs due to the strong demand after a hard winter and the lack of straw – everything is heating up. We now await a resolution to the Brexit negotiations and some certainty for business – which is much needed. In addition we have an England side that has won a penalty shootout – it is all happening!!

    On the 2nd May 2018 I completed my first year of working for McCartneys Estate Agents in the Welshpool Office. When I left Sixth Form in 2016 I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do but after a couple of weeks of working for McCartneys I had realised that estate agency was going to be the career for me. The past year has flown by but in the best possible way, as it feels like I have worked here forever.
