Herefordshire – Brownfield Call for Sites 2023

Herefordshire Council have opened a new call for sites looking for the following:

·         Brownfield Land for Residential Development

·         Brownfield Land for Employment Development

·         Greenfield Land for Employment Development

The call for sites is open until Monday 4^th December 2023

The sites must be:

·         Larger than 0.25 hectares

·         Adjacent or within an existing settlement.

Herefordshire Council is looking to allocate suitable sites in order to contribute to the delivery of housing and employment land targets throughout the county, and also that allocated land is deliverable with the plan period. As part of this it is required to ensure sufficient housing and employment land is identified.

Due to the size and nature of the county, Herefordshire Council will need to consider a significant number of sites, this means that it is important for landowners looking to make the most of this opportunity, that they review their land and ensure that submissions are made within the required time periods.
