Photo Competition Time!
Fancy having your photo published in our 2024 calendar for all to admire and tickets to this year’s Royal Welsh Show?
If you think you’ve got a winning countryside / agricultural themed image, then submit it into our photography competition by emailing photocompetition@mccartneys.co.uk
One lucky winner will receive two pairs of tickets plus have their image take pride of place on the front cover of the calendar as well as on a month in the calendar.
Three runners up will each receive a pair of tickets plus have their image displayed on its own month in the calendar.
Closing date for entries is Friday 30th June 2023.

Photographic Competition Term & Conditions
- The competition is open to all amateur and professional photographers. Amateur and professional entries will not be judged separately.
- The competition is open to all age groups.
- All photos entered must be submitted under an individual’s name.
- McCartneys require that prior permission be sought before submitting photographs of private or public places. However, permission is not required for images taken at McCartneys premises.
- It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary permissions are obtained from any person featured in a photograph.
- By submitting images, you confirm that you are the copyright holder and creator of the image and that you will be responsible for any claims made by any third party.
- Copyright will remain with the photographer. However, by entering this competition the photographer/entrant agrees to McCartneys using the images for possible exhibition, publication or promotional use.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- The judges reserve the right not to make any award if, in their opinion, none of the entries meet the required standard.
- If there is any doubt, McCartneys will decide whether or not a photograph fulfils the particular criteria. If it does not, it will be withdrawn. The McCartneys Judge’s decision is final.
- The competition is free to enter.
- Competitors are allowed to enter multiple photos.
- Entered photos must be in a landscape orientation.
- Entries will only be accepted via the photocompetition@mccartneys.co.uk email. Prints or discs will not be accepted.
- Closing date for receipt of entries is Friday 30th June 2023.
