A graduate in Land Management from the University of Reading, Tom began his estate agency career working for a Shropshire firm of chartered surveyors, over two years working his way up to the role of office manager. In May 2005 Tom joined McCartneys to run their, then recently opened, Newtown Office. Since then, under Tom’s management, the Newtown office has gone from strength to strength, dealing with all manner of property matters right across Mid Wales from the Shropshire borders to the Welsh coast.
Whilst at McCartneys Tom has gained membership to the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS), The National Association of Estate Agents (MNAEA) and also obtained a diploma in domestic energy assessment.
Away from work he enjoys an active social life and is a keen sportsman with interests in squash, surfing and in particular rugby, playing scrum half for the first XV at Welshpool Rugby Club and captaining the side in 2010/11.
