Personal Information

Tom joined McCartneys having achieved an Honours Degree in Rural Land Management at The Royal Agricultural College. Since joining he has qualified as a member of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers. He is based at Worcester market where he is largely responsible for the day to day activities of the market. In addition to this he regularly takes to the rostrum.

Tom undertakes a full range of professional duties, covering land and property sales and lettings, Single Payment Scheme paperwork as well as a range of valuation services.

The first in his family not to take over the family farm in Herefordshire, Tom has pursued his childhood dream of being a livestock auctioneer. His belief is that the best way to produce livestock is to produce the very best and sees the role of the Livestock Market as becoming increasingly important in the marketing of produce.

When he has the time, Tom tries to be outdoors, helping on the family farm as well as shooting as often as he can. He also regularly plays in his local snooker league, though with varied success!
