McCartneys LLP have had two highly successful auctions of Single Payment Entitlements on 17th and 27th March 2006 at The Burton Hotel at Kington. Welsh Entitlement has traded between 1.8 and 2.8 times their value and English between 1.4 and 1.8 times value.

The Deadline for the Transfer of Entitlements (without land) for both Wales & England has been extended to 23rd April 2006. Local farmers and pony owners stood spellbound last week as McCartneys conducted the successful auction of a pony paddock on the edge of Talgarth. The field, which was 4.8 acres, is situated alongside one of the radial routes out of Talgarth, well outside the development limits.
