Record Price for Pony Paddock

Local farmers and pony owners stood spellbound last week as McCartneys conducted the successful auction of a pony paddock on the edge of Talgarth. The field, which was 4.8 acres, is situated alongside one of the radial routes out of Talgarth, well outside the development limits. The level of interest shown beforehand and the shortage of small areas of land on the market had given a clear indication that the demand was going to be fairly hot. Read more...
