Clun Rams in Good Demand

The annual sale of breeding rams for the Clun Forest Sheep Breeders Society was held recently at Ludlow market, in conjunction with McCartneys fortnightly sale of store and breeding stock.
The champion shearling ram belonged to Mr. R. C. Meredith, Altbough, Hoarwithy, Hereford. It sold for £620gns and found a new home with a fellow Clun Breeder from Surrey.
