McCartneys the local firm of Livestock Auctioneers, Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents have been practicing since 1874. John Uffold their Chairman said this week that from the 1st January 2005 McCartneys will be trading as a Limited Liability Partnership.
“The reason for the change is that the partners felt that this new structure would be a more appropriate to the modern world in which we live”. John Uffold continued “it is also a means to encourage young people to come into the partnership and bring fresh skills. The introduction of new blood should bring new ideas and keep the partnership young, forward looking and willing to make the sort of changes that are necessary if a business is to continue to develop in a very competitive world” John concluded.
