Mccartneys recently held the second of their April store cattle and sheep sales at Ludlow Market.
An excellent entry of 993 store and breeding cattle were catalogued, alongside 360 store sheep being nearly all couples.
There was a show and sale for the best pen of steers, heifers and bulls respectively.
Tenbury Wells farmer Mr. Edward Turner won 1st prize in the steers section with his continental x cattle.
They weighed in at 612kgs and at the fall of the hammer made £700 a piece.
