Friday saw the main hogg and lamb prize sale at Ludlow Market together with the fortnightly sale of beef stores and breeding stock.
578 store sheep, all being couples were entered for the sale, meeting keen competition from buyers.
Brampton Bryan farmer Richard Williams had his sheep in the eye of the camera lens for the second year running.
His North Country mule hoggs with Beltex lambs at foot won first prize, being purchased by local judge Rob Hyde for £130 per couple.
In the cattle ring, Ludlow farmer David Rogers, Brook House won a red rosette with his 3/4 bred Limousin steers.
They weighed in at 473 kgs and at the fall of the hammer made £ 574 a piece.
