Approximately 245 metres of Single Bank Fishing Rights on the River Rea located on the outskirts of the town of Cleobury Mortimer.

AGENTS NOTES: Having been the agent when the fishing rights last changed hands in May 1970 McCartneys are pleased to announce the instruction to offer a lovely stretch of single bank fishing located a short walking distance from Cleobury Mortimer town centre and as outlined in the photograph and plans below.
LOCATION: The fishing is located just off the A4117, on the outskirts of Cleobury Mortimer close to the junction of Bridgnorth and Bewdley roads. Ref. Location Plan below.
ACCESS: Pedestrian access only from the A4117 over that land as outlined in red on the Site Plan below.
FISHING: We are informed that the River Rea is a sandstone dominated tributary of the River Teme with the fishing mainly being Brown Trout. A locally renowned stretch of trout river it has previously has been stocked but it is understood that this has not taken place over recent years.
TENDER INFORMATION: Written tenders only to be enclosed in a plain white envelope marked “Private & Confidential” & “Tenders for Fishing Rights, River Rea”. Tenders to indicate sum offered together with proposed date for exchange of contracts and to be received by McCartneys Ludlow Office 16/17 High Street, Ludlow, Shropshire SY8 1BS by 12 noon Friday 5th May 2006.
COSTS: The successful purchaser will be responsible for payment of the vendor’s legal and agents cost which we would suggest would be in the region of £1000.00
