McCARTNEYS SPS ENTITLEMENT AUCTION MEETS HIGH DEMAND
McCartneys LLP held their second auction of SPS entitlements at Kington on Monday 15th January. McCartneys website has again proved an excellent way of advertising their entitlements to a wide audience selling entitlement for vendors in Truro, Montgomery and Cambridge to purchasers from South Wales,Wiltshire, Herefordshire and beyond. The most sought after Welsh and English entitlements are the higher value entitlements which met fierce competition to a packed room of buyers. Lower value entitlements were also sold better than many report.
The highest Welsh Standard Entitlements of the night which had a value per annum in 2005 of 661.59 euros (£451 per ha) sold at 2.3 times their value at £1040 per ha.

7.7 Welsh Entitlements –532 euros (£363 per ha) Sold for £825 per entitlement (2.27 x)
4 Welsh Entitlements –508 euros (£346 per ha) Sold for £810 per entitlement (2.34 x)
7.22 Welsh Entitlements –216 euros (£147 per ha) Sold for £220 per entitlement (1.5 x)
23 Welsh Entitlements –304 euros (£207 per ha) Sold for £400 per entitlement (1.93 x)
13.51 Welsh Entitlements –285 euros (£195 per ha) Sold for £370 per entitlement (1.9x)
The highest Non SDA English Entitlements of the night which had a value per annum in 2005 of 3269 euros (£2229 per ha) sold at 2 times their value at £4450 per ha.

22 Non SDA Entitlements –409 euros (£279 per ha) Sold for £420 per entitlement (1.5 x)
6.43 Non SDA Entitlements–2032 euros (£1386 per ha) Sold for £1850 per entitlement (1.3 x)
