McCartneys Estate Agents and savings and mortgage provider Dudley Building Society have joined forces with the opening of two new agency branches in McCartneys offices at Craven Arms and Leominster. The new agencies opened for business on 8th May and offer the Society’s full range of investment and savings products. McCartneys staff are now trained to offer the Dudley Building Society’s product portfolio and the new service will be available “on clients doorsteps”.
John Uffold Chairman of McCartneys said that he was extremely pleased that the Dudley Building Society had decided to open agencies in two of their offices. “The Dudley Building Society has a very long history and one based upon the need for people to save in order to protect their families and future. McCartneys is a partnership with a long standing tradition of association with the local community and in many ways the two bodies have a similar ethos. I am sure because of this fact the arrangement will be mutually beneficial both to Dudley members and McCartneys clients.” John concluded.
Kim Rollason, General Manager at Dudley Building Society, added:
“We are always looking at ways in which we can make Dudley Building Society’s services available to more people without compromising the value of our products. In being able to create an Agency partnership with a respected, knowledgeable local organisation, we are guaranteeing the customer a quality package – excellent products and more choice, from a familiar, trusted source. Our core philosophy is to provide unrivalled service and with other building societies withdrawing from smaller communities, the opportunity to team up with McCartneys was perfect for us.”
