Farm Sale Success in Alfrick

Machinery sale at The Grange.
McCartneys Auctioneers (Worcester) held a dispersal sale of the Machinery and other deadstock on Friday 4th May, at The Grange, Alfrick. The sale was conducted on behalf of Mrs S Tolley following the previous dispersal sale of the livestock.
All lots were well presented and a huge crowd turned out to bid on the lots on offer, with most lots being keenly contested for. Read more...

Land Fetches over £15,000 an Acre.

John Uffold, Chairman of McCartneys local auctioneers and chartered surveyors, said he couldn’t remember as much interest in a piece of land as that expressed in the 1.78 acres at Brimfield Cross, sold by auction earlier this week. The bidding reached £27,250, in excess of £15,000 an acre, for the agricultural accommodation land.
