House Prices on the Up?

It is forecasted that by the end of 2007 the average home will cost almost £220,000 compared to £100,000 just four years ago. However there is a danger that the bubble will burst in 2008 if the rise in house prices does not slow down. With banks and building societies preparing to lend a billion pounds everyday the result could be disastrous for both first time buyers and those with a high percentage mortgage who are in essence gambling with their homes. Electricity Pylons and Overhead Cables in Your Area

If you have pylons or electricity cables passing over your land or situated on your land you may be in line for further compensation than the initial wayleave payment received. Figures for the compensation and amount have been in the region of between 3% and 7% of the value of the home, another company has been writing to land owners in this area with regards the above and offering the chance for them to act on your behalf to claim the compensation. McCartneys Report Record Year for Primestock Sales and the First Hint of a Change in FARMING’S Fortunes

A substantial increase in the number of prime cattle sold by auctioneers McCartneys in 2006 lifted throughput to 41,150 head – a rise of over 7000 animals compared with the previous year.
