Agricultural Restriction Lifted from a Rural Property in Devon

Mon 24 February 2020

McCartneys LLP planning and survey department have obtained a Certificate of Lawfulness for the removal of an agricultural restriction for a rural dwelling in Devon

The clients instructed us to help them gain a certificate of lawfulness for the breach of an occupancy condition on a rural dwelling. Our clients after a detailed discussion with ourselves were able to provide us with details which showed a breach of occupancy condition for in excess of 15 years, with a signed statement provided as part of the submission.

The proposal proceeded through with no issues as the council were satisfied that the amount of evidence undoubtedly showed that the clients were in breach of the occupancy restriction was received positively by the council, with no local objections.

The application was undertaken and submitted to the council by Geraint Jones working from the Kington Office of McCartneys. If you have any projects which you would like to discuss further then please contact Geraint on 01544 230316 or geraint.jones@mccartneys.co.uk.
