Auction Resume for 2016

During the course of 2016 Phipps & Pritchard with McCartneys LLP were favoured with kind instructions to offer 24 varied lots for sale by Public Auction.

For some of our vendor/clients then irresistible offers meant that a few lots successfully changed hands prior to auction but from those 24 instructions it is great testament to our skill, and expertise, is the field of auction that only just one lot did not actually transact. Thereby creating an incredible “strike rate” of 96%!

Amongst the many notable lots that we dealt with, the highlight of the year was, perhaps, the sale of Old Baskerville House in Worcester City Centre (pictured above) which had a headline guide of £800,000 and through spirited bidding went on to ultimately achieve £945,000! In connection with other lots sold during 2016 we also acted for both Worcestershire County Council and Wyre Forest District Council respectively!

These results would be the envy of our competitors and acutely showcase our expertise in the field of auction.

However, our valued clients’ are the driving force to all of this and with your support we aim to replicate this success for 2017 with four planned sales, as below:
