"Best of the Berrichons" Sale at Worcester peak at 590gns, Saturday 18th November 2017

The Twelfth Annual Sale of the Best of the Berrichon Breeders at Worcester again proved a resounding success with a total clearance and a top call of the day at 590gns. The top price went to the first lot in the sale, part of a consignment of 5 ewe lambs from Rudolf and Andrew Duvel, Germany all of which were hotly contested and offering new bloodlines within the breed. Woodston Manor, Tenbury Wells were the successful purchasers and also took another German bred ewe lamb at 510gns. The imported ewe lambs also found favour with J.J. & l Yeo, Braunton, Devon who took two at 550gns and 530gns.
