Brecon Ewe Sale Report Thursday 28th September 2017

An excellent entry of breeding sheep selling to a difficult trade. The sale attracted an entry of 1100 breeding females along with 80 Breeding Rams. Topping the Ewes was TD Rees, Tynlone for a pen of Pure Bred Texels at £168. The aged ewes would have been the best trade of the evening. The complete dispersal sale from G Davies & Co, Cwmachau attracted a lot of interest around the ring. Ewe lambs topped at £94.50 again with Pure Bred Texels from TD Rees. On the whole trade was sticky but this was expected considering it is getting quite late in the season.
