305 PRIME LAMBS
The trade was again better than expected for a nice quality show of lambs. Best lambs reached £92.07 and 198ppk with well fleshed continental lambs again at a marked premium. The handy weight lambs were also well sold and there is an improving demand for light and medium weight lambs. In ensuing weeks these will have their own section within the yard to allow Buyers to gauge availability and your support for this section along with the main prime lamb section would be greatly appreciated. The overall average was 175ppk, which was well ahead of the HCC National Average for Tuesday.
