A slightly smaller entry of lambs on the week and nowhere near the volume required on the day for the buyer attendance. The trade strengthened on the previous afternoon and the predicted improvement on the day materialised for all categories. The trade was therefore better than expected for a decent show of lambs with the best lambs at a marked premium.
