The steers averaged a staggering £1062 and topped at £1720 with several steers at £1300-£1400 to average 223p/kg which would be up £40-£50/head on last month, whilst heifers reached £1360 to average £1020 and 210p/kg. We had a full capacity of buyers and the only disappointment was the size of the entry as we had sufficient buyers for 1000 cattle today.
