The Third Production Sale from the highly respected and noted Doncombe herd of David and Sue Knight culminated in a top call of 2,900gns for ‘Doncombe Bermuda Rose’, an eight year old daughter of ‘Druk Thor’, in calf to ‘Doncombe Chevalier’ and with a heifer calf at foot, a flurry of spirited bidding secured the outfit for P. Thomas, Wokingham, Berkshire. The Thomas family secured several lots at the sale to further strengthen their successful show team including ‘Doncombd Asgard’, a ‘Druk Lance’ daughter with heifer calf at foot at 1,720gns and a served heifer ‘Doncombe Himalaya’ in calf to the French bull ‘Anis’ and by ‘Druk Thor’ at 2,050gns.
