Fine & Country Conference showcases the new technology on offer

Four of the Fine & Country Members were out and about in Mayfair, London at the end of January when they attended the Fine & Country Annual winter conference ‘The Confidence to Succeed’. Tom Carter and Jamie Tulloch of Fine & Country Mid Wales attended alongside Chris Rees and Zoe Herbert both of Fine & Country Wyre Forest, Severn & Teme Valley.

The Venue was the Millennium Hotel, Mayfair and there were in excess of 160 members both from across the UK and overseas. Attending were members from our Cannes office, one of the recent new additions to our global presence.

Managing Director of Fine & Country Malcolm Lindley reflected on the success of 2012 and highlighting the fact that we are offering a service under the Fine & Country banner which is a Business class service and should be sold as ‘just that’. We do offer a service which is head and shoulders above our competitors and we can offer our clients percentage edge.

Richard Combellack who heads up marketing took us through the importance of knowing our constituency, measuring it and thus driving market share. He also demonstrated new enhancements which are almost at ‘go live’ stage in regards to technology within the hub.

We were also pleasantly surprised to learn that the PR value generated from January – December 2012 for the members was just over 6.5 million pounds worth with an advertising value of just over 2 million. This was achieved through such media publications as The Financial Times, Mail on Sunday, The Sunday Times and Sunday Express.

For the online audience the active Daily Telegraph iPad reaches 53,000 subscribers which is staggering and enables us to promote our Vendors on a totally different platform. An essential and key note for all of our Fine & Country Vendors is that all of the property portfolio will be advertised 24/7 in the Telegraph iPad app during the months of April, May and September.

There were many positive additions unveiled at the conference which will further strengthen the brand and underlines why we are head and shoulders above the competition.

The key sales message coming across was the old adage ‘Success is in the detail’
