Fine Art, Antique and General Sale Report - Thursday 14th December 2017

 A superb sale to bring 2017 to a close with a great entry of 494 lots including some outstanding pieces of furniture and porcelain from a farmhouse in Worcestershire. A slightly smaller crowd in attendance due to the severe weather conditions but lots of interest from our two internet bidding platforms. 

The star lots this month were lot 325, a Victorian burr wood and inlaid side cabinet selling for £1,200 and lot number 453, a Louis XVI style table, also reaching £1,200.00.

The large collection of furniture from the Worcestershire farmhouse sold extremely well and reached up to £1200.00.

Lot 438 – An Indian inlaid table - £220.00

Lot 447 – An early 20th century oak coal box - £115.00

Lot 453 – A Louis XVI style table - £1200.00

Lot 474 – A George III oak and mahogany crossbanded - £400.00

There were a number of beautiful Royal Worcester pieces, all from the Worcestershire Farmhouse and these sold from £30.00 to £750.00.

Art work sold up to £480.00 for lot 179.

Our usual large selection of boxed items sold well fetching between £10.00 and £110.00

Jewellery sold well up to £180.00 for lot 278.

A wonderful collection of ceramics and smaller items sold from £50 to £260.
