McCartneys of Ludlow are pleased to announce another successful Antique and Collectables sale held on 18th September 2014.

As is expected from the rural South Shropshire a lovely Beswick Galloway Silver Bull realised £480. Good oak furniture was certainly making its money with a heavy, early refectory table selling for £1200 and a pretty Welsh dresser went under the hammer at £750. Jewellery stole the night with a lovely art deco style diamond ring appreciating £560 to a determined local buyer, a diamond cluster ring realised £460 and a pretty pearl collection made an above market £260. Retro lots were in high demand on the internet with a pair of Hille Robin day Design low swivel chairs selling at £200, a light Ercol extending dining table with two leaves £340 and an Enslin Hercules du Plessis oil realised £130.
