Fine Art Saleroom Update

McCartneys Portcullis saleroom are pleased to announce a very busy start to 2015. Having already held two successful sales in January and February our March sale has some very interesting lots consigned.

 

Of particular note we have wet specimens of crayfish and a dogfish as well as cased butterflies. Keeping on the natural history theme, a sharks jaw, terrapin and taxidermy study of a duckling have all been entered for sale. The local chapel at Mainstone just outside Bishops Castle has entered some fifteen pews with both open and solid back pews on offer as well as the organ and stool! A single owner collection of train memorabilia, trains and track have been consigned as well as a good collection of silver and some lovely Victorian and other period furniture ready to go under the hammer.
