Green Lights for Blue Texels at Worcester up to 2200gns Friday 5th September

The Blue Texel Sheep Society’s Annual Show & Sale at Worcester proved a resounding success and a top of 2,200gns underlined the enthusiasm and commitment from a packed ringside.

The top call of the day went to “Hackney Extrovert” a February born ET Ram Lamb by Whatmore Siren and out of Whatmore Vienna from Paul Tippetts and Christine Williams Shropshire based flock. The lamb had won fourth in the show and was a full ET brother to the Reserve Overall Champion at this year’s Royal Welsh Show. The bidding quickly accelerated and was finally secured by G Hardman, Red Marley, Gloucester.
