Introducing Our New Lettings Manager

Every day is different in my new role as McCartneys Letting Manager but without fail, every day starts with breakfast with my daughters Carys (8) and Charlotte (6), and my fiancé Mansel.

Living a few miles outside of Brecon on Mansel’s family farm, we are always kept busy with the herd of British Blue cross and Limousin cross cattle and a flock of Hill Cheviot cross ewes.  It is definitely a team effort with all members of the family lending a hand at different times of year, especially at lambing time when it’s all hands on deck!

I joined Team McCartneys in May 2002.  I had taken lambs to Brecon Market to sell and Chris Jones, the auctioneer, asked if I could help out by booking in the ewes as it was so busy….. I was handed the clipboard and the rest shall we say is history.  From that day my career with McCartneys was to run a long and varied path. 

After spending 10 years in the Livestock Market I decided it was time to try something a little different, something I had an interest and a passion for…. PROPERTY!  From that day on I have gained a vast experience in both Sales & Lettings which has taken me across the counties.

As the new Lettings Manager I cover Kington, Llandrindod Wells, Builth Wells and Kington. McCartneys can offer different levels of letting service, from Tenant Find Only to Full Management Service. 

Although I am often found drenching sheep or helping feeding the livestock on weekends, I love the excitement and the new challenges of my job, meeting new people and helping people with all aspects of letting advice.
