McCartneys of Kington report a entry of 1652 sheep on Thursday last the 22nd March. The sheep trade has remained firm during the week in all sections due to restricted numbers being marketed due to the weather and farmers not being able to finish the sheep to the levels that the market requires mainly due to recent weather conditions. The sheep in both the hoggs and cull ewe sections were very dear again. We had an excellent trade in all sections with excellent buying support for the hoggs and cull ewes.
