Kington Fat Sheep Report 26th April 2018

McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1418 sheep on Thursday last the 26th April.

This sheep trade remains firm with a tight supply of sheep in all sections across the country. The hoggets have seen a lift in trade this week mainly due to the lack of numbers being marketed. There is good demand from the buyers in all sections which is good to see.
We need competition in the sheep industry to ensure good returns. Well meated sheep received the best trade again.
