Kington Fat Sheep Report Thursday 12th July 2018

McCartneys of Kington report a smaller entry of 877 sheep on Thursday last the 12th July mainly due to the easing of the trade.

The lamb trade has eased over the past week due to larger numbers being marketed and the buyers continuing to complain about the lack of demand at present for lamb and also leaner lambs being marketed, which is bring down the trade. The cull ewes remain a strong trade particularly for the good meated sheep.
