Kington Fat Sheep Report Thursday 13th December 2018

McCartneys of Kington report a good entry of 2168 sheep on Thursday last the 13th December 2018 for their Christmas show and sale.

The lamb trade has remained firm over the past week with the Christmas and New Year demand kicking in. The easing of the Pound this week against the Euro due to Brexit issues has also helped to maintain the better lamb trade. All buyers were busy with orders for all weight ranges. The buyers continue to require good meated sheep for their orders which are not fat. There was good demand in all sections by the buyers.
