Kington Fat Sheep Report Thursday 13th September 2018

McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1307 sheep on Thursday last the 13th of September.

The sheep trade has eased slightly again over the past week due to more lambs and cull sheep coming to the market nationally and also reports of lower sales from the buyers.

The buyers are requiring good meated sheep for their orders in all sections and thinner sheep are at a disadvantage at present. There was good demand in all sections as long as the sheep were meat from a number of buyers.
