McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1376 sheep on Thursday last the 23rd August.

The lamb and cull sheep trade has remained firm over the past week even given the Qurbani festival earlier in the week, which is good to see. The buyers are requiring good meated sheep for their orders; therefore it is essential to select the most suitable sheep for sale to ensure a good trade.
There was good demand in all sections from a number of buyers, which is encouraging.
