McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1935 sheep on Thursday last the 24th May.

This sheep trade continues to be good for the time of year in all sections but there has been an easing of the trade in all sections due to higher numbers being sold and the start of Ramadan. The buyers continue to require good meated sheep for their orders and the leaner sorts are more difficult to sell.

There is a very mixed entry of sheep on the market at present which gives a very wide variance on the trade.
