McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1470 sheep on Thursday last the 29thJune.
The lambs have eased again over the past week due to larger numbers being marketed and the buyers continuing to complain about the lack of demand at present for lamb. The cull ewes remain a very strong trade.

The buyers require good meated sheep for their orders and are willing to pay for the right goods. Leaner sheep are at a disadvantage so it is well worth selecting the right sheep to sell.
