McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1678 sheep on Thursday last the 30th August.

The lamb trade has remained fairly firm over the past week but we have seen a significant lift in the cull sheep trade and particularly the smaller thinner ewes.
Meat is still the essential element for a premium trade in all sections. There was good demand in all sections from a number of buyers, which is good to see.
