McCartneys of Kington report an entry of 1412 sheep on Thursday last the 5th July.

The lambs have eased again over the past week due to larger numbers being marketed and the buyers continuing to complain about the lack of demand at present for lamb. The cull ewes remain a good trade.

The buyers require good meated sheep for their orders and are willing to pay for the right goods. Leaner sheep are at a disadvantage so it is well worth selecting the right sheep to sell.
