KNIGHTON MARKET – NEXT SALE OF STORE CATTLE (including YOUNG FEEDING BULLS and BREEDING STOCK) together with SALE OF STORE HOGGETS – FRIDAY 6th APRIL 2018

I write to invite your entries of cattle and sheep for the above auction and DUE TO EASTER PLEASE NOTE ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY 29th MARCH 2018 AT 12 NOON.

At our sale on Friday there was another strong trade on both the cattle and the sheep. Every animal was sold. Steers averaged 228.66 pence per kilo and all heifers levelled at 214.54 pence. Buyers are out looking for grazing cattle and all weights and types are keenly sought. In the sheep section probably the dearest store hogget trade that we have ever seen. A top price of £96 per head and an overall average of £73.93 per head. A good entry of cattle and sheep is required for this next sale.
