Live Internet Streaming at Worcester Market

Fri 4 October 2019

Here at McCartneys, we are always trying to improve our use of technology across the company to enhance the service that we offer to our clients.

Take Worcester market pedigree auctions for example, we have a camera situated in the main auction ring that videos the animals in the ring when they are being auctioned and the video is then live streamed to the internet in real-time for the wider audience to watch.

The live video is streamed to our website, YouTube channel and also our agricultural Facebook page and so there is plenty of choice of where to watch the auction.

Even though Worcester market is in a great location on the side of the M5 motorway with easy access up and down the UK, there are times when it just isn’t possible to get to the auction and so the use of this technology has been a great addition to the package offered to our clients.

If you cannot get to the auction and you also cannot watch it live, then the auction is recorded on YouTube and our agricultural Facebook page for you to watch at a more convenient time for you.

This is another example of McCartneys investing in the technology infrastructure to benefit our customers.

We do have an live Internet auction tomorrow at Worcester market and so please click on the following link to see how to view the auction - https://www.mccartneys.co.uk/articles/charollais-sheep-sale-saturday-5th-october-2019
