Local auctioneer to help local Football Club with their quest to buy pitch!

Newcastle on Clun Football Club have been offered a great opportunity to purchase their football ground at Millfield in Newcastle.

They are holding an important fundraiser in the form of a promise auction on Saturday February 24th at Newcastle community centre and our very own Katie Morris will be the auctioneer for the night.

Craig Morris, manager of the club said “Katie is a very well known and liked member of our community and we are thrilled she has agreed to help us out by auctioneering on the night. I’m hopeful she will be able to get the crowd going and provide some great entertainment”

There are many lots on offer including a three night stay in a holiday cottage in Cardigan, a flight for four over south Shropshire, a meal for four at The Crown, Newcastle, Afternoon Tea for two at the Castle Hotel, the hire of the Sabrina Boat in Shrewsbury for the night, a load of lime from Morris Liming and Aggregates, a days tree shearing by Whately Tree Shearing, a day mini digger hire from John Bateson, 1/2 a lamb, 4 shearers and a wrapper for a day, farm photography with drone and a days hedge trimming by J.H Morris to name but a few!
