STORE CATTLE – 760 760 head of cattle forward met with a sound trade from start to finish. The entry had all types and sorts to include many natives all of which found new homes.

FEEDING BULLS: A super show of young bulls on offer with buyers competing hard to fill sheds. Bulls topped at £1170.00 or 283.0p/kg to and average of £812.00 or £215.0p/kg. More bulls needed for the 24th November.

HEIFERS: A good show of heifers forward with a high percentage of young sorts present. The entry also contained a lot of natives. Heifers peaked at £1100.00 or 270.0p/kg and averaged £705.00 or 184.0p/kg. More heifers needed for the 24th November sale.

STEERS: Another good show of steers with strength being most sought after. More could have been sold to advantage. The top price was £1185.00 or 268.0p/kg to an average of £817.00 or 190.0p/kg.
