A seasonal show of store cattle met with a good trade considering the fine weather.

FEEDING BULLS: Some good strong bulls on offer again sold to regular buyers. Top price of the day was £1095.00 or 274.0p/kg to an average of £812.00 or 212.0p/kg.

HEIFERS: Very smart and strong heifers were easiest sold with buyers looking to house cattle straight away. Heifers topped at £1065.00 or 260.0p/kg to an average of £700.00 or 190.0p/kg.

STEERS: As with the heifers buyers looking for strength to house. Having said this all sorts were keenly competed for. Top price was £1240.00 or 236.0p/kg to average £810.00 or 198.0p/kg.
