STORE CATTLE
The extra sale in the month attracted just a handful of cattle which met firm competition, with young bulls to £1005 to a top price of 201ppk and an average of 200ppk. Some Aberdeen Angus Steers reached £820 and averaged £725, a top of 205ppk and an average of 196ppk.

STORE SHEEP – 1397 A smaller entry of store lambs for the third sale in the month. Sold to a good trade, with a number of buyers forward looking for all types of store lambs. We had a varied entry with stronger meated lambs selling to the best trade and up to £70 per head for some Texel x lambs from M. Booton. The lambs ranged from £40 for the smallest to £70 for the strongest Pen. The whole store lamb section averaged a good £58 per lamb.
