A disappointing entry with some vendors unable to obtain licences. Please inform the Ministry as soon as possible if you decide to sell cattle so that licences can be issued. It is not just a formality and this is particularly true in Wales.
There was a firm trade on all of the cattle present bearing in mind the present heat situation and the prices being paid for clean stores.
There was some nice strong cattle on offer and these met ready competition. Being FABBL does make a difference in the stores especially for animals getting older. There was some nice quality young bulls on offer and these made a premium and a good selection of heifers which were readily sold.
